Keith and Stacey live, breathe and sleep CrossFit. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.
The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.
The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. (Courtesy of CrossFit, Inc.)
We offer small group classes led by trainers who will motivate you along with the other athletes to perform at your best. Each class is designed to challenge you physically and mentally. We strive to bring elite fitness to all individuals, regardless of their current fitness level. Beware, we are not a globo-gym! We have no ellipticals, no smoothie bar, no mirrors, and no excuses!!! Just an intense workout designed daily to suit each individual's needs. It's not easy. You will leave each session feeling exhilarated and exhausted at the same time.
So what are you waiting for? It's time to expect more from your workout!

Arrive early and stay late to cheer, clap and encourage others. Anything less is to cheat yourself of the experience and to rob others of the gift of your presence and support as part of the community. Besides, if you are late, it’s a 10 burpee penalty per minute.
Engage your brain when you walk in the door. Be aware and respectful of your surroundings. If there is teaching going on stay quiet so people can hear and learn. If there is a WOD going on, stay out of the way and off the equipment until your class begins.
If you forget to sign in, it’s a 25 burpee penalty. And regarding any burpee incentives…you may cry and whine all you want, as long as we can hear you counting (and if no one signs in, no coach is obligated to be there to coach an empty class).
Welcome those who are new! Extend your hand in friendship and help instruct those who need help. We want you to make friends and support each other!
Please remove your head-phones, it is hard for you to hear safety instructions with them on.
The WOD…it is what it is (unless you are injured or new).
Accidents and injuries happen and usually come as a result of impatience. Don’t be greedy. Slow down. Ask questions. Ask for help. Check your ego at the door. Practice safe habits.
Grunting, screaming, cussing and otherwise making noise are all welcome and encouraged during a workout. There is such a thing as gentle, quiet strength, although most of us haven’t mastered that yet. Also remember that there can be such a thing as too loud, crass, gross, or rude – please be respectful!
EMPTY barbells were not designed to be dropped (neither were dumbbells or kettlebells). We don’t want our toys, our rubber floor, you or someone else broken unnecessarily.
Chalk is useful, even necessary. It is also messy. Use as much as you need, but keep the excess inside the chalk bucket because all the extra dust makes a huge mess!
Clean up and put away all equipment after each workout. Clean up sweat, spit, blood, chalk, dirt, vomit, handprints and whatever else you’ve left behind. Don’t forget to put your water bottles in the trash too.
Finally…have fun and work hard…that is what we are here to do! If you cheat, you are only cheating yourself.
Advance payment is required.
Payments are due on the monthly anniversary of your sign up date and will be automatically withdrawn. For example: If your sign up date was June 5th, your payment will be processed on the 5th of every month.
You may cancel your membership and/or automatic payment with a 30 day written notice. No exceptions, 30 days is REQUIRED. Ask Stacey or Keith for a Membership change form.
If you would like to change your membership option (increase or decrease the amount of times you attend CrossFit Arvada), please provide a 2 week (14 day) advance WRITTEN notice so we can get you set up properly. Please submit written request using a Membership Change form.
$25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
Unlimited Memberships- These can be put on hold for one week, twice per calendar year.
Two and Three day Memberships- Missed classes can be made up during the same month (classes do not roll over from month to month. We are a “month to month” gym so use them or lose them).
You MUST sign up in advance for all classes. This helps us to prepare in advance for you; it allows us to have the appropriate amount of equipment out, which enables us to get classes started on time.
You MUST cancel any classes you are unable to attend. The cancelation window is 30 minutes prior to class start. Please remember; When you sign up for a class we are holding that spot for you. Since all classes are capped at 20, there may be other Crossfitters waiting for an open spot in class.
If you forget to sign in and show up to class, there will be a 25 Burpee penalty.
If no one is signed up for class, the class will be cancelled – make sure you sign up!
You are agreeing to these policies and rules by signing up via the Website and paying for your membership…not to mention actually attending classes.

Kids' Room Rules /For Kids (And Their Parents)
All Children, unless in a supervised CrossFit kids class, must remain in the kids area. This room is unsupervised, so here are a few key rules to make sure this works for kids, parents and everyone else.
Kids must be able to sit quietly and be self-entertained without the need for parent intervention.
Feel free to bring books, washable crayons/markers, homework, puzzles, DS systems with headphones, or other quiet activities for your kids. Television and DVD player are provided
Once your kid is in the room, we need them to stay put. Absolutely no kids on the gym floor at any time, for their safety as well as our members. It's up to you to make sure your child doesn't wander off and onto the gym floor.
If your child is crying or needs attention, drop the barbell, climb down from the rope, stop your WOD, and please take care of it. We promise not to make you do extra burpees..
Some kids have too much energy to be confined to one room. Some like to climb walls, or furniture, or people. Some need to work on their sharing and cooperation skills. Some can turn a crayon into a lethal weapon. We love ALL kids, but if your kid happens to be one of these, you'll probably need to find somewhere else to take them while you workout. You know your kid better than we do; just use your best judgment.
Please clean up after your children, especially if they have left crumbs etc. It only takes a second to run the vacuum.
Please don't bring your kid in if they're sick. Runny noses, coughing, pink eye, fever, head lice, that strange blistering rash that just appeared - whatever they've caught, we don't want to catch it too.
That being said: We look forward to meeting all your wonderful, adorable progeny who will certainly be inspired by your CrossFitting abilities. And let us know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions for the Kids Room.
